Synopsis

In this book, the study was made on the 2D numerical analysis selected the NACA 0017 as the initial shape before it deformed hydrodynamic characteristic such as behaviour, lifting, drag forces, upon each Hydrofoil in full-scale CFD simulations at 0 deg Angle of Attack (AOA). Before undergoing the CFD analysis on all hydrofoils, the mesh sensitivity and convergence study was conducted to obtain consistent, validated, and reliable results. All the results obtained will be compared to the experimental results in the subsequent study.
